What's Included In The Lessons?
In the language lessons, you will learn both grammar and vocabulary.
The grammar lessons are written in a way so that you will be able to read them casually yet grasp all of the concepts. They do not require you to study English in order to understand all the Korean grammar lessons - I know how frustrating that can be! I'm not going to talk about prepositional phrases, gerunds, and the all time favorite comma splices.
Each lesson is written with you with mind. If there are any remotely educational English grammar words used, you will find a definition of that word sitting next to it.
Vocabulary sections are simple! You can learn vocabulary based on the types of words you wish to learn, or follow the recommended path to speed up your every day communication skills. Each vocabulary section has audio for every word, so that you can learn the words correctly the first time around. Let's just get it right the first time and avoid the embarassment of pronouncing a word incorrectly! There is no need to go back and fix pronunciation at a later date.

All audio is recorded by a native Korean speaker.
All lessons are written using a friendly and casual tone of voice. This should keep your interest aroused and help you avoid boredom while learning! It should be an easy, casual read that yields lots of education. What could be better?
All lessons are also written using Hangul, or the native Korean alphabet. Unfortunately for Korean language enthusiasts, many sites have Korean vocabulary or lessons written using the Roman (English) alphabet. This limits how well someone can learn Korean, and nobody enjoys limits.
Since we use Hangul, we have a specific section dedicated to teaching it. In the Learn Hangul section, you will learn how to both read and write, with excellent pronunciation when reading, all in just a few lessons. The main method used for teaching Hangul uses audio. We have nearly 500 audio files (currently 470 to be exact) that we use to teach an alphabet consisting of less than 40 letters - there is no doubt you will come out sounding like a pro!
Because Hangul is fully used you will be able to both read and write in Korean, using the native alphabet. You will be able to read any Korean document with ease, pronounce words as they should be pronounced, and will even impress your friends when they see you can write in an Asian language ;-)
Not to mention the potential raises, promotions, and job offerings received when you can fully understand all aspects of the Korean language - including written word.
You will also be able to understand spoken Korean, as well as speak it effectively yourself. All Korean on the site will have audio recorded by a native Korean. This means that you will be able to hear the correct pronunciation for each and every word on the site. What this really means to you is that you will be able to correctly speak Korean and be able to understand native Koreans when they speak Korean.
The native Korean voice in the audio files is a neutral and native voice, free of dialects. This means that you will have no trouble understanding almost any Korean when they speak.

Each lesson ends with a quiz. This means that before you decide to move on, you will be able to see how well you understand the material covered up through that lesson. If you are not ready to move on, you can focus on the areas you need more practice with. If you are ready to move on, then you will not need to spend more time on that lesson and can move on to the next lesson.
This quiz method will allow you to save time in the end by guiding you through the lessons at your own pace. If you learn effectively and fast, then you will go through the lessons faster. If you need more time to fully understand the language, then you can go at your own pace until you can communicate effectively. In the end, you will come out speaking Korean fluently.
Note: A few of the later lessons still need quizzes, which will be up Feb. 2007. The earlier lessons currently all have quizzes.
